Questions families ask
A few things to know before you begin.
Do I need to make or edit anything myself?
No. This is a service, not slideshow software. You share the photos and a few details; we arrange the pictures, add music and title cards, and make the video. You review the finished tribute, and one round of changes is included.
What is the difference between the $149 and $299 packages?
Tribute is $149: a photo slideshow with our instrumental music or your own MP3, name and date title cards, and 48-hour delivery. Uploading your song is included at no extra charge. Legacy is $299: we write original songs from the memories you share, with gentle photo restoration and 24-hour delivery. Both include unlimited photos, a private viewing page, a video download, and one round of changes. Delivery time starts once your photos are ready.
Do I need all the photos ready before I order?
No. Answer the short form, choose your package, and pay at checkout. Then you can gather and upload your photos, including contributions from family. Let us know when everything is in so we can begin. The 24- or 48-hour delivery window starts then, not while you are still collecting photos.
How many photos can we include?
Both packages include unlimited photos, with no per-photo charge. You will need at least 10 to start the tribute. If you have hundreds of pictures or need the video to fit a specific length at the service, ask us before ordering so we can help you plan it.
Can other family members add photos?
Yes. After checkout, you can share a family upload link. Relatives can contribute to the same collection from their own phones or computers, without emailing every photo to you.
When will it be ready, and do I need a service date?
Tribute is ready within 48 hours and Legacy within 24 hours once your photos are ready and we begin. The service date is optional. If the service is sooner, or you need a particular delivery time, contact us before ordering so we can confirm what is possible.
Can I upload my own song? Is there an extra charge?
Yes. One MP3 upload is included in the $149 Tribute package at no extra charge. After checkout, add it on the photo upload page before you ask us to begin crafting. You can preview it there or switch back to our instrumental music. If you already have your own song, you do not need the original-song add-on.
What happens when my song ends?
Your uploaded song plays once. If more photos remain, instrumental music gently fades in and continues for the rest of the slideshow. We keep the photos at a comfortable pace instead of rushing them to fit the song. If the video is shorter than your song, the music fades out with the video.
What kind of music can I upload?
Upload one MP3, up to 40 MB and between 5 seconds and 30 minutes long. You must own both the music and the recording, or have permission to include them in the tribute video and share the finished video. We ask you to confirm this before uploading. Buying a song or having a streaming subscription does not give you permission to put it in a video.
What if I do not have a song?
You do not need to find one. Tribute includes instrumental music chosen for your slideshow. Leave the optional MP3 upload blank and we will take care of the music.
How is the Legacy music different?
Legacy includes original songs written from the names, memories, and details you share. For longer videos, we create multiple songs to accompany the photos. Tell us the music they loved to guide the style; these are new songs, not recordings by their favorite artists. Our studio reviews the words before recording, and you review the finished video.
Can we choose the photo order or a special final picture?
Yes. Tell us about important groupings, a preferred opening or final picture, or a particular order you want. We can work from those instructions. If you are unsure, we will arrange the photos for you, and you can request changes when you review the video.
Can we send phone pictures, scanned prints, or older photos?
Yes. Upload phone pictures, scans, screenshots, or clear photos of printed pictures from your phone or computer. Send the best copy you have. Legacy includes gentle restoration of older or damaged photos; the result depends on the original, and missing detail cannot always be recovered.
Will we see it before the service? What if something needs changing?
Yes. We send you the finished video to review before you share it, and one round of changes is included. Tell us about a name correction, photo placement, or anything that does not feel right. Changes to an original song may require a new recording, so please flag important details early.
How do we play it at the service and keep a copy?
You receive a private viewing page and a downloadable MP4 video. Send the file to the funeral home or venue and ask them to test it on their equipment before the service. Download a copy to keep forever; your private viewing page stays available for one year.
Is this also suitable for a celebration of life?
Yes. You can use your tribute at a funeral, memorial, celebration of life, or family gathering, and share it with relatives who cannot attend.
What if we are not satisfied?
Tell us within 14 days of delivery. We will work with you to make it right, or refund you in full.
